which were connected to their everyday life. Most of them
had a worship character due to the fact that the Cappadocians
had a deeply rooted sense of religion. Only a few were non-religion
related and these dealt with forcing away the bad spirits
and daemons. The most important of these customs was the celebration
of Christmas. These celebrations began on Christmas Eve and
continued till New Years day.
